Located just outside Montpellier to the west, Domaine de Saumarez stretches across 13 hectares of sun drenched hills. The domaine is surrounded by garrigue and the Mediterranean Sea is visible on the horizon. Founded in 2004, our story began with a simple ambition: to craft quality red, white, and rosé wines that respect both nature and our sunny South of France terroir.
For over 20 years we have cultivated our vines organically in this unique valley in the Languedoc, formed 170 million years ago! Our philosophy is clear: let nature speak, express a vibrant terroir, and preserve the landscape for future generations.

We welcome you all year round for tastings, artistic encounters, and to meet the winemakers. Throughout the year, we invite you to experience the estate through art and wine. Since 2023, our tasting room welcomes local artisis. By prior arrangement it is possible to order platters and group tastings. We also host bespoke events and offer room hire for meetings or private meals
